Hello! I have a warm, client-centred approach to healing. I believe that every person has unlimited inner potential for growth and healing. You will find a caring and supportive companion in me for your path of self-discovery and growth. I am comfortable with a variety of approaches to counselling and mainly work with parts of self and systems theories. I am comfortable working with spirituality and faith in your healing and am responsive to each person’s unique perspectives and needs.
I have a special interest in counselling and support for fertility and reproductive mental health. I also work with clients navigating child loss, grief and bereavement, depression, anxiety and existential or spiritual growth challenges. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I bring a rich tapestry of education and experience to the counselling room. Prior to completing my studies in Counselling and Spirituality in 2017 at Saint Paul University in Ottawa I enjoyed a rewarding career in human sciences research and consulting. I completed my PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Waterloo in 2003 and then worked in applied psychological sciences, organizational effectiveness and strategic human resources management, labour market economics and higher education teaching and learning.
